Back  ON Track  bootcamp  fitness

the road back to fitness begins here...

About Us

How is Back on Track Bootcamp different from other fitness programs?

Working-out outdoors offers natural challenges - inclines, declines, obstacles, which increase your fitness level faster than indoor workouts.  As your body learns to adapt, you will gain power, coordination and balance.  And of course you will increase your ability to burn calories and fat.

Working in a bootcamp environment creates a spirit of teamwork and group support that individual fitness programs lack.

Great coaches can train anyone,
from beginners to Olympians

Back on Track
is owned and operated by
NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) coach Glenn Lovstad.

History
Glenn has been involved with fitness since his elementary school years.  After a successful high school career in competitive track, he was offered a full scholarship to Florida State University and invited to run 800m in the Olympic trials.  Through it all, Glenn benefited immeasurably from quality mentoring and training, and is forever thankful to leaders who taught him the fundamental disciplines for success.  For medical reasons, Glenn was suddenly unable to continue on that career path.  Instead, he took his passion for fitness to a new level - mentoring and coaching others to achieve similar life-long successes.

Coaching career
Glenn started coaching in 1985, as an assistant coach at International Peace Garden.  He then moved on to coach high school track, becoming a leader in his field when he led the St. Johns High School team to the Manitoba Provincial Championship win seven consecutive times.  Glenn has coached Provincial and National teams, as well as private training.  But his primary objective has always been to inspire his athletes to excel in everything they do.  Through training and mentoring, he challenges individuals to build character and secure their futures.

Back on Track bootcamp
Recently, Glenn turned his attention to adults after hearing ongoing complaints about unsuccessful fitness paths:
  • investing in program after program with little or nothing to show for it
  • sleep-walking from machine to machine at the health club
  • creating bad fitness memories and hitting walls
  • devising a million excuses for not getting fit
The words "Back on Track" are true to our vision and commitment in helping men and women shake off their bad fitness memories, break through the walls and the barriers, and embrace a fit and healthy program.  Our goal is to provide a positive fitness experience that gets you Back on Track with the fundamentals of fitness.

See you at our next session!
