Back ON Track bootcamp fitness
| What is a fitness bootcamp?
Fitness bootcamp is an outdoor group exercise class that mixes traditional calisthenic and body weight exercises with interval training and strength training. Our classes are designed to push you to your next level – in an encouraging community environment. The result is a low-cost, efficient and challenging workout that gets fast results! What kind of people go to Back on Track Bootcamp? People just like you. Some who need a little push to jump-start their fitness and wellness program; others who are already working out; still others who want high-energy workouts. It doesn’t matter who you are, we will challenge you to your fullest potential. All we ask is that you give your best effort each day. What kind of results can I expect? After our 4-week program you will feel stronger, have a flatter stomach, toned and tight muscles and plenty of endurance. It is not uncommon to lose 2-4 pounds a week. We can’t guarantee you will see all these results since it depends on you and what you put into our program. Will it be hard? Yes. You are not paying for an easy workout. We offer the training program; all we expect from you is the effort. It will be as hard as you make it. And you will be sore sometimes. It’s part of the process to improve. What should I wear/bring? Comfortable workout gear and cross training shoes. Dress in a layered fashion that is appropriate for the weather. We recommend wind pants to protect you from the wet ground. Cross Training, trail or off road running shoes are most appropriate but any type will do. If your shoes are more than 1 year old you increase the odds of injury. Optional items are a towel to dry off with and gloves or mittens during cooler months. You must also bring a bottle of water. What happens if it rains? This is bootcamp. We workout in all kinds of weather. Classes are rarely cancelled. Please make sure you dress for the weather. Where are the bootcamps located? We meet at Gary Hobson Memorial Park. Off Pembina Avenue at Oakenwald Avenue/Woodgrove Street in Fort Gary. (See our map). What happens when I register? We will give you an introduction to Back on Track Bootcamp and contact you personally to answer any questions you may have. We may also review your medical history with you. What types of exercises might I do? Jumping jacks, push ups, burpees, crunches, squats and lunges. Core conditioning, muscular strength, circuit training, short distance running, plyometric running, interval sprint drills… What if I have an existing injury? Activities/ exercises can be modified around an injury, but it really depends on the nature, severity, and phase of injury. Please contact us prior to registering to discuss the injury and we can determine if this program is right for you. Can I start a class in the middle of a session or month? Yes. Can I get a refund or terminate my agreement contract early? No. How long does a session last? Bootcamp is 1 hour each day, 5 days per week, for 4 weeks. How about my own designer group? We will create your own special group workout for a minimum of 3 individuals. Please contact us for details. |
