How do I prepare for Back on Track Bootcamp?

Water is the best drink.  Green tea or coffee are fine in moderation. But you should be drinking .5 - 1 oz of water per pound of bodyweight. Drink water as soon as you get up in the morning and before meals. Wait one hour after meals before drinking water again.

Sleep at least seven hours.  The healthiest people sleep between seven and nine hours each night. Two hours of sleep before midnight is worth four hours of sleep after midnight. Go to bed.

Eat at least four servings of fruit and four servings of vegetables each day. Especially green, leafy vegetables. For protein eat fish, poultry, eggs, and red meats. For snacks - nuts, vegetables, fruits. No vending machine products.  Plan to grocery shop along the outer walls in the store. Foods down the isles are more processed and less nutritious.

Do I eat before or after my workout?

Everyone has a different answer for this one. We are firm believers that it is important to put something in your stomach before your workout. Adding fuel to the fire helps regulate your blood sugar and kicks your metabolism into gear. But some people can't eat before a workout and some people can’t workout unless they have a little something to eat.

Do what works for you.

You'll be done training before the rest of the world gets started!
